The holy month of Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection and a time to give back to the community. Ataya Charitable Society is proud to continue its tradition of supporting those in need during this blessed month. As part of our yearly Ramadan Goodness campaign, we are implementing the Ramadan Suhoor Project, which aims to provide essential meals in the Suhoor time to the neediest families in Gaza.
The project will distribute canned goods, cheese, and milk for Suhoor meals to families of orphans, children of prisoners, and the wounded during the days of Ramadan. The region has been under a blockade since 2007, making it difficult for families to access basic necessities such as food and medicine.
Your donation to the Ramadan Suhoor Project will have a significant impact on the lives of those in need. By providing essential meals, we can help ease the burden on families who are struggling to make ends meet. Your contribution can help bring joy and happiness to their faces during this holy month.

عن عمرو بن العاص أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:” فصل ما بين صيامنا وصيام أهل الكتاب، أكلة السَّحَر”.

ولبركة هذا الشهر الذي تكثر فيه الأعمال الصالحة، ويتضاعف الأجر والثواب عند الله، عن عبد الله بن عمر رضى الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله:” إن الله وملائكته يصلون على المتسحرين”.

ونظراً لسوء الأحوال الاقتصادية والمعيشية التي يمر بها قطاع غزة من حصار ظالم وفقر مدقع، وللتخفيف من معاناة الشعب الفلسطيني ودعماً لصموده في مواجهة التحديات كانت فكرة المشروع والذي يتضمن توزيع وجبات السحور على (1500) أسرة من الأسر الأشد فقراً ، وأسر الأيتام وأبناء الأسرى والجرحى طيلة أيام شهر رمضان ، وتشمل الوجبة على (الأجبان والمعلبات، التمر ) بتكلفة (40 $) لكل أسرة ، حيث يأتي هذا المشروع ضمن جملة المشاريع الرمضانية الخيرية التي تنفذها جمعية عطايا الخيرية

Importance of Your Donation

Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter.
